The Problem
The planet Earth and the human body have something very interesting in common. Both of them are composed of 70% water. Yet of all the water in the world, only 1% of it is fresh. Sharing it fairly is going to be an increasing problem for all the world. Here in the UAE, it is especially acute. The UAE is one of the world's fastest growing economies. For such a young country, we have made astonishing progress. But progress comes with a price. The progress we've made has cost us a great deal, in terms of the natural resources we have here. Especially water.

Even though we're a small, young nation, our water consumption - including bottled water - is larger than many countries with much larger populations.
